About Energy Future
EnergyFuture.org.uk was created to help homeowners ask better questions before committing to expensive low-carbon home upgrades. The site grew out of comparing solar, battery and heat pump quotes and finding that many savings claims were difficult for ordinary homeowners to properly challenge.
The site focuses on the assumptions behind quotes: energy prices, tariff dependency, heat pump efficiency, grant framing, solar and battery savings, installation costs and long-term comparisons.

Our message: low-carbon upgrades can work well, but homeowners need clear, honest figures before committing thousands of pounds. The technology may work, but the quote still needs to prove the numbers.
